Step-by-Step Procedure

The marriage procedure at Arya Samaj Mandir Shanti Vihar, Lucknow is very simple. Follow the steps below or contact our Pandit Ji directly for any guidance.

    Contact the Pandit Ji

    Call our purohit and book a date for the marriage ceremony at the temple.

  2. 2

    Submit Documents

    Provide identity proofs, age proofs and required photographs of both bride and groom along with witnesses.

  3. 3

    Arrive at the Temple

    Reach the temple on the scheduled day along with your two witnesses and family members.

  4. 4

    Vedic Havan & Rituals

    Perform the sacred havan and complete the marriage rituals as per Vedic tradition under the guidance of our pandit.

  5. 5

    Receive Marriage Certificate

    Receive your Arya Samaj marriage certificate immediately after solemnization of the marriage.

  6. 6

    Government Registration

    Register your marriage with the office of the Registrar of Marriage based on the certificate issued by the temple.

Important Notes

  • Both bride and groom must be of legal marriageable age (Girl: 18+, Boy: 21+).
  • Two adult witnesses with valid photo ID are mandatory.
  • Marriage is performed daily — the temple does not observe holidays.
  • Marriage certificate is issued on the same day after solemnisation.
  • Inter-caste and inter-religion marriages are warmly welcomed.
